Carol Anne is the Director of the Center for Air-Sea Interactions and Marine Atmospheric Sciences at WHOI. Her current areas of research include understanding upper ocean mixing processes, how small-scale air-sea interactions affect the climate scale, and ocean impacts on the global water cycle. Her work uses a combination of remote sensing and in situ data together with high-resolution ocean and coupled models.
